Many frameworks have been developed to understand the concept and practice of marketing. They include the 4-Ps; the 5-Cs; segmentation, targeting, and positioning; Porter’s Five Forces; SWOT analysis; customer lifetime value; financial breakeven analysis; and satisfaction-profit-chain. This note provides an overview of the eight models.
